Training information

Sunday session 
Land training - 2.30pm to 3.30pm 
​Pool training - 3.30pm to 5.30pm

Tuesday session
​Junior session - 7.30pm to 8.30pm (invite only)
Master's session - 8.30pm to 9.30pm (Over 18's) ​
 Sessions are held at
​Sir Jospeh Williamson's Mathematical school, Maidstone Rd, Rochester, ME1 3EL

Team structures 

When you join the club, all the swimmers are put into a team, which is decided by age and ability. As the swimmer progresses, they will move up a team, decided by the coaches. 

Currently we have the following teams:

Juniors 
  • Clams team- Coached by Amy and Megan
Our Beginners

  • Jellyfish team - Coached by Emma and Emily
Our Intermediate

  • Stingrays team - Coached by Jane and Rosie
​Our Senior team

Masters 
  • Sharks team - Coached by Rosie
Swimmers from ages 18+ 

  • Dolphins team - Coached by Jane
Swimmers from ages 18+ 

Land training

We have a four week rotation for land training, where we focus on flexibility, core, performance and walk throughs. All four of these things are very important for the swimmer to maximise their performance.

Pool training

Each week, pool training consists of a combination of :

  • Figure training
  • Routine skill training
  • Diving and entries
  • Stamina
  • Routine training

All these skills help to develop our swimmers to their maximum potential.
