ABOUT US

Medway Artistic Swimming Club aims to promote health and fitness through the team sport of artistic swimming. The club has a fun and friendly atmosphere where athletes can develop to their full potential at their own pace. Our Junior club members train to achieve grade level awards and to take part in competitions. Our Masters (18+) club members also have the opportunity to compete if they wish to do so. A yearly showcase is held to display their achievements to parents, partners, children and friends.

Medway Artistic Swimming Club won The Swim England 2025, South East Regional Award for Artistic Swimming Club of the Year.

"I could not recommend them more highly. The coaches are friendly, welcoming and inclusive and it shows in the attitudes of the children who are all so lovely."

"They go out of their way to personalise the training and challenge them to get the most from the lessons."

News and Views

a successful competition season

,2025 marked a great year for the club with our first ever medal at Combo Cup! The Red team achieved a bronze medal with their 'Stranger things' routine in 13-18 category. The Blue team, in the 15 & Under section, swam brilliantly as well and for many in the team it was their first time going to Combo Cup.

At National Masters, Medway went away with three medals. The Purple team received a silver medal for their 'Spiderman' routine and the team grew from 5 to 9 swimmers since last year. The Orange team swam beautifully with their 'La La Land routine', increasing their scores since last year. The other medals were a silver medal received by our duet swam by Melanie and Bethany and a bronze medal from our soloist, Lorraine.

At South East Regionals, Masters section, we came away with two medals! Lorraine gained herself a bronze medal and the Purple team received a silver medal for their 'Spiderman' routine.

The first competition of the season was the Kent County Competition, which started off our successful season, with the club coming away with a total of 4 medals. Keira received a Gold and Sophie got a Bronze medal in their grade 3 figures. Both the Red team and the Blue team received Gold medals in their categories for their combination routines!

In total, we finished the year with 10 medals across the club! A massive well done to all the swimmers at Medway for all their hard work and dedication! A big thank you to all the coaches that spend hours and hours of their time, coaching, writing routines, decorating costumes and judging.

Here's to 2026!
