Our pool side team
All of our poolside team have up to date enhanced DBS certificates and have completed and are up to date with safeguarding training.
Jane Lonsdale
Head Coach Jane started her life with the club in 2005 as a parent. From the very beginning, she helped at competitions as a clark/caller. She began helping poolside in 2007 and became a level 1 coach in 2016. Jane holds team manager 1 and 2 and is a level 1 judge. She has also been the club welfare officer. Jane is responsible for coaching our senior team from 2011 to present. In 2022, Jane took over as head coach. |
Rosie Lonsdale
Coach Rosie started artistic swimming in 2005 when she was 10 years old. She then started coaching when she turned 18 and has been coaching now for 10 years. Rosie is a level 1 coach, a level 2 judge and a team manager. Rosie mainly coaches and choreographs for the senior team with Jane. Rosie is one of our Master's swimmers who has competed at Nationals and internationally. |
Emma Harris
Coach Emma started artistic swimming in 2009 when she was 10. She started coaching in 2016 while she was a way at university in Portsmouth. She came back to Medway to coach in 2019. Emma is a level 1 coach and judge and a team manager. Emma mainly coaches and choreographs for the Blue team with Wayne. Emma is one of our Master's swimmers who has competed at Nationals and internationally. |
Emily Crowe
Coach Emily started artistic swimming in 2010 at 7 years old. Emily left artistic swimming in 2016 to become a competitive diver. She returned to the club in 2022 as both a level 1 and diving coach. She also helps Jane and Rosie with the senior team. Emily is also a level 1 judge. Emily is also one of our Master's swimmers who has competed at Nationals and internationally. |
Katy Hughes
Coach Katy started swimming in 2012 at the age of 9. Since reaching the age of 18, Katy has continued to swim and compete as a master's swimmer and has competed at Nationals and internationally. Katy is a level 1 judge and team manager. Katy coaches alongside Amy for our youngest swimmers in green team. Wayne Bristow Coach Wayne started life at our club as a parent and started as a poolside helper in 2017. In 2019, he became a level 1 swimming coach. Wayne is also a Level 1 judge and team manager. Wayne currently assists Emma with coaching our blue team. |
